Monitor Mounts for Ultrawide Screens

An ultrawide monitor mount is a monitor arm built for wide 21:9 and 32:9 screens, including curved models. It has the reach, weight rating and arm strength to hold a long, heavy display level and steady. Our ultrawide monitor mounts hold screens up to 49 inches and up to 44 lb per arm. You can attach them with a desk clamp, a grommet hole, a desk pole or a wall.

  • Single 49 inch ultrawide on a desk: our heavy duty single monitor arm fits 17 to 49 inch screens from 4.4 to 44 lb, curved models included. It reaches up to 18 inches and works with the Samsung Odyssey G9.
  • Desks with no room behind them: our heavy duty monitor mount with gas spring arm uses a top mounted clamp, so you install it entirely from above the desk.
  • Ultrawides up to 35 inches with 200 x 200 VESA: our heavy duty desk mount holds up to 33 lb, takes VESA patterns up to 200 x 200 mm and has USB and multimedia ports in the base.
  • Budget pick up to 42 inches: our ultra wide single monitor desk mount slides along a pole for height. It holds up to 22 lb and takes VESA patterns from 75 x 75 to 200 x 200 mm.
  • Wall mounted: our heavy duty monitor wall mount holds ultrawides up to 49 inches and 44 lb. It installs on a single stud or a solid wall.
  • Two stacked ultrawides: our dual stacking mount holds two 49 inch ultrawides on one pole, with USB 3.0 and USB C ports.
  • Ultrawide plus two side screens: our heavy duty triple mount holds two monitors up to 35 inches side by side and one ultrawide up to 49 inches above or below them. Each arm is rated to 44 lb.

How to choose an ultrawide monitor mount

  1. Screen size: Match the mount's maximum screen size to your monitor's diagonal. A 49 inch 32:9 screen needs a mount rated for 49 inches. A 34 inch 21:9 screen fits mounts rated 35 inches and up.
  2. Weight without the stand: Weigh your monitor without its stand. Gas spring arms are tuned to a weight range, so check the minimum as well as the maximum.
  3. VESA pattern: Most ultrawides use 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 mm. Some larger screens use 200 x 100 or 200 x 200 mm. Check the back of your monitor and match it to the mount's VESA list.
  4. Attachment: A clamp grips the desk edge with no drilling. A grommet bolts through a desk hole. A wall mount frees the whole desk. Each product page lists the desk thickness its clamp and grommet fit.
  5. Layout: Choose a single arm for one ultrawide, a stacking mount for two, or a triple mount for an ultrawide plus side screens.

Ultrawide monitor mount FAQ

Can a monitor arm hold a 49 inch ultrawide? Yes, if the arm is rated for 49 inch screens and for your monitor's weight. Our heavy duty desk and wall arms fit up to 49 inches and 44 lb.

Do curved monitors need a special mount? A curved monitor uses the same VESA holes as a flat one. Check that the mount lists curved screens and that the arm is rated for the weight. Curved ultrawides are often heavier than flat screens of the same size.

Will a standard monitor arm hold an ultrawide? Often not. Many standard arms are rated for 32 inch screens at around 17.6 to 22 lb. A heavy ultrawide can make that kind of arm sag or drift.
