Great item. I used it as a swing arm for up and down not as the more conventional side to side. Plus you can spin the tv 360 degrees to how you need it.

Perfect! I have a studio apartment the bedroom and living room are separated but not by a wall. Long story short the only place to put a TV is on a post/support beam so this is perfect because I can rotate the t.v. towards my bed or couch depending on where i want to watch t.v.

This didn't fit the back of my TV but it did fit the mounting bracket that the TV hangs on so it worked out perfectly.

Heavy Duty for tv 50 lbs.
I purchased a Stanley tv mount from Frys and returned it as I thought it would not hold a 50 lb. 55 inch Plasma tv. I bought this Mount It as it has two arms and the two arms are in contact with the tv contact point and thus could hold more weight. I was right. This tv mount is HEAVY DUTY. Once you property install it to the 2 studs it's going to function very well. I feel safe that tv will never fall and it functions very well.

Hi all I ordered this product because I wanted a clearer sound for my Bose Sole 5 sound bar. I was placing my sound bar behind my Sony 55 inch TV on the base I know not a great place for the sound. Anyway this did the trick! The assorted bolts washers and spacers was great for various TV and speakers. As someone mentioned in another review don't be afraid ...
As someone mentioned in another review don't be afraid to get creative. It was not so simple for me to set up as I had to go hunting around the house for different screws because my soundbar had smaller holes than the screws that the mount came with. In the end after trying a few different positions I got it to work. The instructions only offer a few ways to do it but there are many more.

Didn't line up with the hole son my Vizio sound bar until I tuned them upside down and managed to get it to work. Probably more of a Vizio issue with non-standard mounting holes.

Screws too short
Screws for mounting vesa plate were too short for my samsung 32 led tv so i had to buy longer ones at home depot everything else is perfect

Works with the Sonos Beam sound bar (with wall mount)
Used with Sonos Beam and the Beam Wall Mount. Had to reverse engineer a bit and drill out some of the washers to make the hole bigger but this saved me a lot of money and works good so far.
