Small footprint huge benefit!
Set up was slightly tedious but it came with all the required pieces and tools--took about 15 minutes to put together. I attached a separate dual monitor bracket (did not come with this desk converter) which had to be installed off-center because of the raising mechanism but I'm not at all worried about that. I love that it has a smaller footprint on the desk so I still have room for my other items. (I don't have any other shelves or storage so I need all the desk space I can get!) The unit itself is sturdy so as a heavy typist there is minimal shake.I attached picture of lowered all the way and raised all the way. As you can see in the picture lowered all the way the keyboard piece sticks out a bit but I have plenty of room behind my chair to scoot back so I don't mind. I'm 5'11\ and my current desk is 28\ and this is tall enough for me when the unit is all the way up. If my monitors were on their regular bases

Perfect for the price. The genius that says that it was impossible to lift after adding two 23 inch monitors apparently didnt know that there is a tension adjustment on the top of the base pillar. I have two 23 inch monitors installed and it works great. Up and down with ease. No issues at all. Dont let uninformed opinions dissuade you from getting a quality product at a reasonable price.Only caveat is that the desk needs to be fairly narrow for the keyboard tray to clear the desk completely. The apparent design was to have the keyboard tray resting on top of the desk since there are two pads underneath the tray itself.Not a deal breaker but could be an ergonomic issue for you short people depending on the desk height. Your thighs might not be parallel to the floor.Overall a very decent mount for the money.

Great Quality and Works Better Than Expected
After a long search for a reasonably priced sit/stand workstation I chose the Mount-It!. I move offices about once a year and wanted an option the would be easy to transport and setup I found it. The best part is I can fold the key board up and push the monitors away to have fully use of my entire desk for paperwork. The stand is well build and hides cords well.

Great standing desk
Very easy to put together action to raise/lower is smooth. The stand is very sturdy. I put a 27\ monitor on the top shelf and it feels stable. The faux wood finish looks much nicer than the models that have the plain plastic finish. Heavy!!

Had the stand for a couple weeks and it is a lot better than I though. Stable stand easy lift and good height**UPDATE** Love this stand. It's very stable aligns really well no matter what height I set and I added a $40 Dual LCD stand. No issues. The only thing I would change is the keyboard. I'd add a tilt to the keyboard so that you can angel your hands better when standing.

This \Mount It! White Tabletop Standing Desk Converter\ is exactly what I wanted. Don't spend more for a similar but unproven product. Before purchasing I was comparing this model to the Black rectangular model by the same manufacturer and a couple other models that had two tiered keyboard/monitor space.*This model is cheaper $99 compared to those $120-$150+ models and for my uses it functions more practically. The rectangular 32x22\ Black model takes the same footprint of desk space however it appears that the handles of that model appear to extend further out and could have caught on or landed on my clutter on the rest of my desk.*Then I started to wonder why this model was being sold for less and had the discounted price tag

I love this stand and use it everyday at work
I love this stand and use it everyday at work. It was easy to assemble and moving from a standing to a sitting position takes no effort at all. I also like the option of positioning the height of the desk from max to min and anywhere in between. Several of my counterparts are thinking of purchasing this stand because of its ease of use and low price. Our IT manager has a hydraulic desk where a push of a button the entire desk raises and lowers put this together for me and commented the structure of this desk is of very high quality. If you have a small desk area and would like the option to stand this is the product for you.

bought this for my desk at work so i could sit at stand.I have had this mount/desk for several weeks and it's awesome. I was looking for something that would feel normal working on while sitting and would sit flat on my desk while also having the ability to move it up to standing height where I would not need to look down at the monitors.I'm over 6 feet tall and i can raise it high enough to where I would need to look up if I wanted to. It can go all the way down to my desk to where the keyboard tray is completely flat on my desk for when I want to sit and monitors are only 8 inches are so off the desk. Mount will raise and lower to any height and stay there.Very easy to move up and done and easy to adjust the tension as well.Mount feels very sturdy and well made. When it is in the raised position I can easily use the mouse and rest my wrists on the keyboard with no sag or dropping. I have left it in the up position several times overnight with no movement whatsoever when I came back the next day.

Great option at a lower price
I've been using this a few days. It is very easy to move up and down I like that you can stop it anywhere and it doesn't have to be all the way up or all the way down. Assembly instructions could have been a little more clear but I am happy with it now that it's put together. I did it myself in about an hour. The top shelf has plenty of room for a monitor and leaves space for me to use it as a writing desk as well since my monitor is on the right and not in the middle. The keyboard tray has two assembly options-one so that it will be flat on the desk when it is lowered and one so that it will be raised an inch or so

Great adjustable desk with a small footprint good for corners and other small areas (other similar models take up so much room on the desk). Works well with the multi-screen arm add-ons too. Took less than an hour to assemble no special tools needed.

I was able to set these up at my workplace on my own and I'm usually not too mechanically inclined. This operates smoothly seems sturdy and I believe it'll last long. I like the fact that it has various stop points for height for days you're in a different size heel. It stops wherever you place it to stop on the incline and descent.

Putting it together was a little time consuming and adjusting the tension was confusing... as you can only do it once the monitors are off so that it springs up and then adjusts once the monitors are attached..... Anyway after it was all put together and the kinks worked out I LOVE THIS DESK.... I have a few jealous coworkers who want to change from their normal stand-up desk to this one..... i definitely recommend it!!!

Desk still usable when moved up/out of the way!
Took a bit of work mounted it through the cable hole in the desk.By mounting it this way at an angle it seems that positioning it is more flexible than when you would mount it straight ahead of your seating position.Longer monitor cables will help to give you enough play for turning.It took quite some turns to get the tension adjusted to where it needed to be. Keep going and it will adjust.Great that it leaves desk space when raised/moved out of the way.

I got this and installed it on my desk at work. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to put it together and get it mounted. I advise to have a second person available when mounting it to the desk. I wished I did at the time.Most of my co-workers have the desk top standing desks but those seem to take up too much space on the desktop and where I am at we have small workstations. Our cube space if you can call it that is pretty much a desk that is 3 x 5 and with a Duel-Monitor set up it takes quite a bit of room especially with a Desktop Standing desk.I installed this on a Sunday night and Monday morning when I got to work my co-workers were already checking this thing out. They said it was Plus 10 on the Nerdy cool factor and really took interest in it. When I told them the price point on this they all asked me to send them the link so they can order one.I have used this for that last 3 days now and this thing has proven very useful. For one you know this is improving your health in some sort of way especially in an office where someone has a birthday cake brought in at least 3 times a week. Also when you are at the office and you get carb loaded by said cake you can help fend off the sugar crash by standing at your desk while staring at the computer monitors. Second the articulation on this thing is amazing. You can turn it to show people what your working on or move it away so they can't see......Like when you are writing Reviews.I would definitely recommend this and have to my co-workers who are willing to pay me to install this on their desks so this is really a win win situation for me and the seller.

Our office has been ordering many standup desks units but we have many desks could not accommodate the model we have standardized on so when I found this unit I decided to gave it a try. This unit unlike others rises from the front and moves back so that those with overhead cabinets can join in the standing revolution. For those with short desks the base unit only needs 20\ of desk to rest securely. The keyboard tray easily accommodates a keyboard and mouse (even one users large MS Ergo KB) and the entire unit has a smaller foot print that many others.The assembly was simple and the instructions easily understood. The material is solid wood and the hardware mechanism all powder coated steel. I was very happy with the item and the users are enjoying their new desk setups. The price was also a big selling point too. about half the price of the big named brand we have been ordering.Modifications....One of the units I purchased was replacing a desk setup for a user who had a keyboard drawer. The problem was that this unit keyboard tray sits level with the desk. A quick review of the assembly instructions confirmed that I could change the points I attached the keyboard tray. This change would only allow me to attach the tray with two bolts but the material is more that strong enough to accommodate the mounting adjustment. This lowers the tray height 2 inches below the desk top surface

Perfect for working at home
Working from home meant sitting almost 100% of the time so I had to have something that got me on my feet that didn't cost $500 plus! This was perfect! It was simple enough to set up with 2 people 1 person would be hard but not impossible. I'm 5'2 so I was able to use a small monitor stand and position it so I can sit and stand without moving it but adjusting from sitting or standing is smooth. Typing while standing there is a slight shake but def not something that makes typing impossible or slower. I do definitely recommend a cordless keyboard and mouse especially if you have it at highest point. But other than that I was able to use without missing a beat! The delivery was fast set up was easy enough and using is simple! I would highly recommend especially for the price!

Well after many hours of research I settled on the MI-7904 and very happy I did. I had everything setup in about 20 minutes and was able to put it together myself. The desk is very solid while in the standing position. I tend to put a lot of weight down on my keyboard but the desk holds its position with no sag. I was skeptical due to the low price point but the MI-7904 has exceeded all of my expectations. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend!

Wonderful solid desk -- but the monitor mounts are severely lacking.
The desk itself is wonderful -- definite five stars! It's very solid and goes up and down easily. It locks into position at any height. The work surface is large and comfortable. The monitor holders are what cost this the star. First even at their lowest setting they hold the monitors too high. They were already elevated a few inches above the desk due to the desktop being higher than the keyboard shelf. Now add the inches for the monitor arms and you are looking UP to see the screens. Then -- and here's the irritating part -- the knob that tightens the upright monitor-bar in place interferes with the lowering of the desk. With the monitor mounts in place the desk won't go down the last 3/4\. The monitor mounting bars aren't the spring type -- they are fixed height. The mounting bracket that attaches to the upright bar is the only height adjustment and

A worth purchase BUT BE AWARE....
Just got this set up at my office desk yesterday. Took longer to put together than I'd anticipated and I did get fairly frustrated a few times (see next paragraph) The instructions weren't the best for example it shows two different ways of mounting the unit but it wasn't exactly clear...I kept trying to figure out how I was supposed to use parts from step 1b when I used them in step 1a! That may just be me though because a coworker was kind enough to glance at the paper and knew exactly what it was saying.Also BE AWARE it was terribly challenging to put this together if you don't have access to the back of your desk. This is where I spent the majority of my time and the source of nearly all my frustration. I have a cubicle and cannot remove the back wall. I had to smash my tiny childsize hands between my desk and the cube wall while trying to tighten screws with an Allen wrench.Other areas where the instructions are lacking and good things to know if you buy this item:- if you use the clamp mount you'll likely have a LOT of leftover hardware. This had me super worried at first until I realized the parts were for the alternative mounting method which requires drilling holes through the desk.- one of the final steps is using the larger Allen wrench on the main arm of the unit (the piece directly affixed to the desk). You turn left or right (shows as a +/-) which is ultimately what allows the unit to move up and down easily. It's adjustable since not all monitors are equally heavy so you have to just play with it until you find what works best. This wasn't difficult but the instructions didn't make the purpose of this step abundantly obvious.- not having free access to the back of the unit meant I couldn't utilize the cord keeper along the main arm of the unit but this wasn't that big of a deal for me.All in all after using it for the day it started to grow on me. It was certainly larger than I expected but I'm getting used to it and liking it more and more. It's a great alternative to the traditional sit stand desktop versions since it's MUCH cheaper and accomplishes the same goal. It appears to be good quality and the clamp method holds it to the the desk tightly. Aside from installation confusion I'm happy so far with this purchase.

Great product does all it claims good quality easy use if you read instruction it's east to assemble. Return is quick and easy I returned it as it tuck up to much space from the back of desk to the front. I didn't have room to use the regular desk if I didn't want to stand. Be sure to check your spacing. Good product!!!! just didn't work for me

Stand mounted every easy to my desk. Took about an hour or so to get it assembled and mounted to the desk. No complaints so far. My only wish would be that the keyboard deck was a little more rigid when it is at standing height. It is just a bit wobbly not unusable just not real rigid. Couldn't beat the price though.

Understand what ur buying and how much ur spending
I did a lot of research prior to deciding on this particular desk. I don't like the platform type as they seem to take up too much room. They seemed more stable than the one I purchased though so I did have that concern. I knew this desk was going to be a little wobbly. I love how it doesn't take up too much room on my actual desk. It's actually not wobbly when I type because I am standing still to type. It's more wobbly when I am just mousing and honestly that's because I'm a person that doesn't stand still very well at all. It took about 1.5 hours or so to get setup. The directions as everyone else has said really aren't very descriptive just pictures. Luckily my husband has put up so many of these types of desks he had an idea of what he was doing. It comes with the Allen wrenches u need to put it together. Honestly though if u have the bits and are able to use a drill ur hand/wrists will appreciate it. Overall I'm super happy with my purchase. I knew for the cost what i was probably buying and it fit with the price. If u want something with less wobble I doubt this is for you and you need to spend the money to get something else. Honestly the one that's like $500 or so...there's a reason. This one is $150ish and there's a reason. Again for me absolutely satisfied with my purchase.

Just what I wanted....
Using this stand in a co-working environment. Looked at dozens of brands including the VariDesk Ergotron and host of others. Gained lots of weight from sitting all day in home office; not to mention neck and wrist pain from hunching over keyboard. I wanted a stand that would not take up the entire desk but still had a shelf to accomodate a keyboard and mouse. This fits the bill. Put it together myself; pretty straight forward instructions; except could not find the gas lever once I located it (deeply inserted in the base cavity) instructions made sense; bit on the heavy side for one person. Once together the gas lever is very responsive as it allows you to make micro adjustments; and the rubber pads are a useful addition to prevent the unit from sliding while transitioning from stand to sit and vice versa. Giving it 4 stars as I just got the unit last week. Will update review once I've had a full week of really putting it through the paces. Will update review after a week of use. Really looking forward to using this over the long term.

Need a larger desk
Arrived on time well packed easy to assemble and is a solid product but way too large at zero position keyboard base actually hangs almost 3 inches from edge of my desk. When raised it will move backwards so keyboard end up in perfect position to work standing. If you have a large desk then will have no trouble.

I believe for the price this product deserves to be 5 star but I'll give 4 as other pricy options may offer bit of additional functionality and better operation. Just keep in mind when you are lifting up/down you do need to account for weight of your monitor. It may not be easy to operate unless you have a strong arm. That's only negative point I can think of at the moment otherwise I like overall functionality and smooth up/down operation (close to hydraulic lever functionality).It is exactly what I wanted.

I loved the materials used and the size. It's not too big like most of them. Putting it together was BS. The tools they give you are crap. I would suggest when it arrives find your tools or go buy them then put it together. I love it tho!

Overall good for the price. It took me longer than 20 minutes to built up also it gets easier if you build it between two as I needed to do some tweaking at the end my boyfriend had to hold it so it would not moved out place until it was completely secured. At first it did not stay up when I lift it however all you have to do is adjust the arm. Definitely a good option if you don't want to pay those expensive stand up desks. Final tip this works better for tables made out of stronger material (wood hard/thick plastic) due the weight it holds I do not think Fiberboard tables will work that well in the long run.

Fantastic purchase. Speedy delivery like Mr. McFeely but without him eating my food and talking for ten minutes. Quality product like El Chapo. It stands up to the weight that I apply unlike my legs. The only drawback is that the C-clamp for the dual swing arms is about an inch too long and doesn't lay flat. (That's what she said). 8/10 would have been better if it weren't for C-clamp length...... and getting dumped because it was too long.

Almost everything I wanted. The assembly was a pain but it got together in the end. Then I realized the arm was about 3 inches too short for my uses. Plus the monitors are directly beside themselves so when you're looking at them head-on you're looking at the 2 bezels. So you have to look left or right there isn't enough room on the bar to have a \center\ monitor with one to the side.Besides all that

Very nice product - well designed
So I didn't want to loose most of my desk space and buy one of those crazy expensive veri-desk units did a lot of research talked to our company ergo-guru and decided on this unit. Fairly easy to assemble and mounting was very simple. Tweaking my dual 25 monitors so they were both symmetrical took some time but the end result is very nice. The action is smooth and not the least bit jerky or heavy. Although typing while standing takes time to get used to I already find I can stand behind this for hours working. If you aren't used to standing while working you will feel it in your calfs trust me. Get an anti-fatigue pad you will need it.

I am pretty short at 51 and I loved everything about the set up except when in a sitting position the keyboard remains too high therefor is just not ergonomically healthy for my body. If the keyboard was more adjustable & able to go down I would keep this product but unfortunately I am returning it due to my shoulder being sore after just a few days.

Usability made easy
I great enhancement if you would like to make an existing desk a sit/stand function. While I had a piece that didn't quite act as expected customer service was quick and efficient at providing support to come up with a solution.

Don't bother getting the mount for the monitors
It took this company 3 deliveries to get me everything I needed to put 2 of these desks together. First they shorted me the swivel arms to mount the monitors and so they sent me 4 which was enough to do one desk and then I had to go back and ask for the other 4. The company was good about sending me the missing parts but it was a hassle and numerous days to get everything that was needed to assemble. I agree with the person who said the arms make the monitor too high. I am sitting on cushions and it is still bothering my neck to have to look up. I will probably end up taking them off the swivel arms and just putting them straight on the desk. The desk itself is fine and I love it while standing up but I am having a hard time using it while I sit.Karen

It's ok....had some difficulty adjusting the tension for raising/lowering. The keyboard tray is crooked and the wrist rest isn't in good place when mouse is on the tray. It isn't movable.

I'm satisfied with the quality of materials and movement of the arm. The assembly was easy and the instructions were clear. The monitor mounts are weak point in the design and could use some improvement but hold my monitor just fine as is. I use a laptop holder on the other side and the mounts are unable to tighten sufficiently to stop the rotation and hold the weight. I jammed a wedge into the mount as a solution. Another short coming is the keyboard tray. It is NOT deep enough. This results in the monitor being uncomfortably close when letting my arms fall into a natural position. It easy enough to stand back a bit but this tires my arms over time and I find that I creep forward. You might find this a feature if you're looking to strengthen up a bit. A slide out keyboard tray would make a GREAT improvement. The adjustability is otherwise excellent and while not perfect I would recommend this mount. It is the only mount I have ever used though so take my recommendation with a grain of salt.

The small table that holds the key board and mouse vibrate/move to much when you are typing on the key board. Have to use a box underneath to hold it from shaking everytime I type.Also a lot bigger than I expected Can't see over the top when you are sitting at it.

The only issue is the monitor(s) sit too close to your face. Everything else is great.

Easy to assemble and use.
Purchased used. Opened to find that it had not been used. Assembled unit and will take to work to try it out. So far it appears that it'll do what I need. The package came with extra parts (dual monitor arm) which are for a different model The other piece parts for the dual arm were not in the box upright tube etc... This unit is sturdy wood and steel construction so it should hold up.

Monitors will be a bit too close for comfortable viewing and if they are very big (23\) you can't get much of a viewing angle on them. The mount to the desktop is very nice and lends to quite a bit of height and rotation options. While the options are great

Good but not level
Vertical arm is not level and I don't see any way to adjust it. With two monitors and four cords the cable mgmt tracks need to be bigger. Otherwise I really like this product. If the company can help me get the vertical arm level then I'd give this 5 stars.

Product is meh comlany is good
It is as advertised and of good quality. Good: Holds position well easy to adjust from sit to stand good build. Bad: Monitor adjustment is too finicky and the wobble is legit keyboard tray is cheap and small cup holder could be bigger and deeper overall device looks big and clunky and is karge enough to not really free up as much desk space as I hoped.
