Hide TV wires inside the wall
In-Wall TV Cable Management Kits
An in-wall TV cable management kit hides your TV's power cord and HDMI cables inside the wall, so a wall-mounted TV shows no wires at all. Mount-It! kits put recessed outlets behind the TV, some with USB-A and USB-C ports. A pre-wired cord carries power through the wall to a plate near the floor that plugs into a standard outlet. No hardwiring, and the power kits are ETL certified.

How in-wall TV cable management works
Each kit has two recessed plates. The upper plate sits behind your TV with the outlets and a brush opening for HDMI, Ethernet and other low-voltage cables. The lower plate sits near the floor and connects to a wall outlet. A pre-wired power cord runs between them inside the wall. Cut both openings with the included template and drywall saw, feed the cord through, and plug in.
Which kit do you need?
- Three outlets behind the TV: the In-Wall TV Cable Concealer with Recessed Power, or the In-Wall Cable Management Kit with Power Input Module, which connects to an outlet up to 5 ft away with the included cord.
- USB charging behind the TV: the In-Wall Cable Management Kit with USB and the kit with USB and Power Input Module add USB-A 3.0 and USB-C ports to two AC outlets.
- A streaming box, Samsung One Connect box or router: an In-Wall Media Box, also in Large, keeps it inside the wall behind a Wi-Fi-transparent cover.
- Can't open the wall? The On-Wall TV Cable Concealer Kit is a paintable raceway that mounts on the wall surface.
Is it safe to put TV power inside the wall?
Not with your TV's own cord or an extension cord: the National Electrical Code (NEC 400.12) does not allow flexible cords inside walls. In-wall power kits run power between two recessed boxes through a pre-wired connection made for behind-the-wall routing, and Mount-It! kits are ETL certified.
Before you cut
Find the studs, and check for insulation, fire blocking, pipes and wiring. Mark your TV height first so the upper plate sits behind the screen.
