Soundbar Mounts

Below the TV is the usual choice because the sound comes from near the screen and close to ear height. Mount it above when a cabinet or fireplace blocks the space below. The MI-SB50 supports both.

Universal brackets fit most bars that have mounting holes. Our MI-SB50 and MI-SB60 fit bars 3.5 to 6.1 inches deep. The Sonos Arc and Beam need their own mounts (MI-SB52 and MI-SB44).

Use the MI-SB60: it hangs on drywall with nails, so you drill no holes and need no stud, and it holds bars up to 13.2 lb. Or attach the bar to the TV with the MI-SB50 or MI-SB39.

Our universal brackets MI-SB50 and MI-SB39 hold up to 33 lb. The drywall MI-SB60 holds 13.2 lb, the Sonos Arc bracket 17.8 lb and the Sonos Beam shelf 11 lb.

Mount it when the TV is on the wall: a bar left on a stand below a wall-mounted TV sits far below the picture, so the sound and the screen come from different places. A TV-attached bracket keeps the bar centered under the screen and moves with a full-motion TV mount.

Use a bracket that bolts to the TV's VESA holes, such as MI-SB50 or MI-SB39, and hang the bar from it above or below the screen. The bar then follows the TV when you swivel a full-motion mount. The MI-SB39 fits 32" to 70" TVs with VESA patterns from 200 x 100 to 600 x 400 mm, and the MI-SB50 fits most TVs with standard VESA patterns. Both hold up to 33 lb.
